Jugendstil-Festhalle is situated in Laudau, and our renovation returned the building interior to the original Jugendstil – a German style in line with the French art nouveau.
The building contains two halls which we have refurnished for banquets and celebrations. The largest hall in the building still also functions as a theatre, and we placed priority on extending the fly tower and replacing the old stage technology.
The two halls
Besides the banqueting halls, we have transformed the entrance hall with wardrobes into a multifunctional foyer with a bar. The former terrace has been returned to a promenade area and is now a concert garden. Along the garden, a covered path connects Jugendstil-Festhalle with a hotel complex, and we have established an equipment centre under the concert garden to make room for an industrial kitchen to service guests.
Since the formation of the firm, Dissing+Weitling has continuously worked on renovations and new buildings in Germany.
